Below: Q&A with Alex Lopez, who is a freelance UX designer and the co-owner of a Social Enterprise Fashion Label GoodInk Clothing where he is responsible for business, web design, and content strategy.
Why do you do what you do?
I think I was always meant to stumble into improving user experiences as it is deeply rooted in who I am as a person. I have always been a strong empathetic person, into customer service when I worked my summer jobs, interested in the social side of psychology, speaking in metaphor most of the day. I just care about people, and I love creating useful tools and interfaces for people to enjoy and to make their lives a little bit better. I also believe a good user experience is the foundation of any brand worth it's grain in salt.
How does Notable help you do what you do?
Notable helps me get instant feedback on a process or a design, I can also use it to comment on other pages. I also love that the collaboration is documented so I can go back and refer to it as I work.
How do you see your relationship with Notable evolving?
I definitely see myself using Notable in the future, it has become an asset to all endeavors I'm currently involved in. From a UX standpoint I am extremely satisfied with the improvements that have been made [in the new Notable]. Overall...an extremely top notch product!
