The Yeti heard grumblings on Github about how Foundation wasn't exactly getting along with jQuery 1.9. Well, he thought that wasn't possible and decided to check in on it. After all, it was jQuery 1.6 that he'd said good-bye too.
What the Yeti discovered is that he needed to spend more time with 1.9 and really bond. Which is why he's released from the Tundra an update to Foundation, 3.2.5 to be exact, that strengthens the compatibility with jQuery 1.9. This update includes:
- Updates to the Foundation Topbar, including die() and live()
- Update to Magellan javascript that removes calls to obsolete event listeners in jQuery
Also, Foundation 3.2.5 is fully compatible with jQuery 1.7 and above. However, before upgrading, we recommend that you read over the changes in the jQuery 1.9 Upgrade Guide.
