Six groups have just finished brainstorming for about an hour to discover which message speaks the loudest for Rebuilding Together Peninsula 25th! Can anyone say brains on fire?
The amount of ideas that they're producing is amazing! This cumulative mind power between two talented groups could fuel a nuclear reactor. On the 25th anniversary Video, which will be featured at their upcoming event, Jason Spencer, Content Video expert, and ZURB Engineer Jordan drive key points about the nonprofit's impressive history, story and the next 25 years. The question on the group's mind is: What one word sums up Rebuilding Together?
Two cups of coffee into the morning, ZURB Designer Caleb and Board Member Dan O’Brien have smashed it with their group, coming up with a single-page site for the 25th anniversary event. The theme is bringing people together to celebrate a sense of home.
Executive Director Seana O’Shaughhnessy is jumping into each room listening in and adding key points that drive the message of the strength of how the community is beyond just the hammer and nails. And its clear that idea is picking up with all of us as both ZURB and Rebuilding Together Peninsula speak as one about this project.
Driving the helm of content, Ryan Riddle, our Chief Editor, leads his team on creating the invitations and posters. From cool animations to imagery, the team seeks anything that:
- Conveys order and health
- Alleviates stress
- Keeps communities strong
- Drives a sense of togetherness
All this leads to the answer — that one defining word.
The team agreed, “There is a powerful difference between 'house' and 'home' that transcends an entire community.” Alina Senderzon, Design Lead and Creative Director of ZURBwired, pulled together this defining idea. Her group blew through tons of sketches to capture this simple yet powerful message.
