When ClickTracks' CEO John Marshall first approached ZURB with a request for ten icons and a rough prototype of a website—neither company realized at that moment just how far they'd travel together. ZURB helped John build ClickTracks (a web based analytics business) over the next months to come. John sold ClickTracks for over $10 million and went on to start MarketMotive. Through real life stories he will share the failures and successes of moving from a product focused analytics business to a service focused consulting business. He will share with us:
- Things he would *not* do again based on his experience at ClickTracks
- Top three pitfalls in transitioning from product to service
- The start-up culture: Product vs. Service
- Van Halen and the role of analytics in a business
